Suicide Prevention Workshop by Summit County Health Dpt.

Join us on Tuesday, October 6th at 11:00 AM at the Park City Senior Center for Staying Connected: Emotional Wellness & Suicide Prevention for Older Adults.

This interactive 45-minute workshop is focused on emotional wellness, connection, and suicide prevention for older adults. Participants will learn how common life changes can affect emotional health, how to recognize warning signs that someone may be struggling, how to start a supportive conversation, and where to turn for help.

Through discussion, real-life scenarios, and simple activities, participants will leave with practical tools for checking in on friends, family members, neighbors, and themselves. The workshop will also introduce 988 and other resources available for support.
