Today’s class is designed to give you a foundational knowledge upon which you can build as you explore the fascinating world of wine. We will study how wine is made, both in the vineyard (viticulture) as well as in the winery (viniculture). In addition, we will analyze the range of grape varieties used to make fine wine. Finally, Sean will give you advice on buying wine in Utah, which can be a challenge given the state-controlled liquor stores.
