A Sommelier, of course, doesn’t just serve wine, and so must also have knowledge of the fascinating world of brandies, spirits, beers, sake and cigars. We’ll go into greater detail in particular with brandy and spirits, both of which have many fun and interesting variations, things like Cognac, Armagnac, Scotch and Bourbon. They also have a range of production techniques that we’ll explore which make them distinctive.
