PC Institute Performance: The US Army Field Band

If you are interested in attending this show, please stop by Will Call at the Eccles Center and mention the Park City Senior Center to claim your ticket. Moving forward, paper tickets will no longer be delivered to the Park City Senior Center by the Park City Institute. Transportation will not be offered to or from the performances. All performances will be held at the Eccles Center with the exception of Dr. Jagmeet Singh’s Presentation on March 13th, which will be held at the Lecture Hall at the Park City High School.

The Jazz Ambassadors is the official touring big band of the United States Army. Formed in 1969, this 19-member ensemble has received great acclaim at home and abroad, performing America’s greatest original art form, jazz.

Concerts by the Jazz Ambassadors are programmed to entertain all types of audiences. The band’s diverse repertoire includes big band swing, bebop, Latin, contemporary jazz, standards, popular tunes, Dixieland, vocals, and patriotic selections, many of which are written or arranged by members of the Jazz Ambassadors.
