PC Institute Performance: Christopher Cross
If you are interested in attending this show, please stop by Will Call at the Eccles Center and mention the Park City Senior Center to claim your ticket. Moving forward, paper tickets will no longer be delivered to the Park City Senior Center by the Park City Institute. Transportation will not be offered to or from the performances. All performances will be held at the Eccles Center with the exception of Dr. Jagmeet Singh’s Presentation on March 13th, which will be held at the Lecture Hall at the Park City High School.
Christopher Cross made history when he won five Grammys, including in the all-genre big four categories: album of the year, song of the year for the single Sailing, record of the year also for Sailing, and best new artist on the strength of his 1980 self-titled debut album.
His music has also garnered an Oscar and a Golden Globe. In a career that spans more than five decades, Cross has sold more than 10 million albums and earned multiple top ten singles. His catalog features a long list of recognizable hits, including Ride Like the Wind, Never Be the Same, Say You’ll Be Mine, Think of Laura, and Arthur’s Theme. These songs helped define a generation of smooth rock, and they continue to attract new listeners through film, television, and streaming.
