LIVE GIVE PC

I want to humbly ask that you support the Park City Senior Center by making a donation during Live PC Give PC. Your support now is more important than ever.

A lot has happened this year for our organization. A tremendous amount of good, but also a growing pain or two. First off, I want to make clear just how incredibly excited and grateful we are that Park City Municipal has committed to building a great big, brand-new center for Park City Seniors. This is the primary goal that our Board of Directors has been striving towards for over a decade. To finally see it come to fruition is simply awe-inspiring. Boy, are we lucky.

I do, however, want to stress that our little nonprofit is still facing the ever-present challenge of securing funds to provide low-cost programming and resources to our 900+ members. 95% of the programming that takes place at the Park City Senior Center is funded, organized, and administered by the Park City Senior Citizens, Inc. nonprofit, including our exercise classes, art class, presentations, bus trips, support groups, clinics, parties, picnics, and so much more. Donations and grants are the lifeblood of our organization. Without them, our nonprofit would not exist, and Lauren and I would not be lucky enough to call the Park City Senior Center our place of employment.

Live PC Give PC is our most important fundraiser. In fact, it is our only fundraiser. It is the lone time each year that we ask you, our 900+ members, to consider making a contribution. Last year, we were beyond thankful to have raised $55,000 in donations and matching grants from 189 individuals. This year, we are upping the ante. Our goal is to raise $100,000 from 400 individual donors, which, if accomplished, will ensure that our nonprofit can continue to grow in 2027 and provide even higher quality programming for our nearly 1,000 members. And thanks to a few kind-hearted early donors, we are already off to a great start in reaching that goal.

I want to extend a tremendous thank you to the extremely generous individuals who have thus far committed over $25,000 in matching grants towards our 2026 Live PC Give PC campaign. This means that for the first $25,000 worth of contributions we receive, your donation goes twice as far! A $10 donation turns into $20! A $50 donation turns into $100! A $1,000 donation turns into $2,000! Amazing!

Regardless of how much you are able to give this year, I want you to know that your generosity is deeply appreciated. Without you, our little nonprofit would not be able to pursue our mission of ensuring that Park City Seniors can live lives as vibrant as the community we all call home.
