Emerging Issues – Corruption in Government

Join us for our once-a-month discussion series at the Park City Senior Center. Led by member, Bob Shallenberg, each Emerging Issues session will center around a topical or political issue and feature a 30-minute introductory video followed by 45 minutes of civil discussion.

November’s Emerging Issues discussion will highlight various forms of political corruption, campaign finance influences, and real-world ethics enforcement. Participants will analyze the root causes of systemic corruption, evaluate its impact on democratic institutions, and examine effective mechanisms for promoting government transparency, accountability, and citizen oversight.
