Emerging Issues: Artificial Intelligence

Join us for our once-a-month discussion series at the Park City Senior Center. Led by member, Bob Shallenberg, each Emerging Issues session will center around a topical or political issue and feature a 30-minute introductory video followed by 45 minutes of civil discussion.

This month’s Emerging Issues presentation will provide an introduction to artificial intelligence (AI), including what it is, how it works, and the ways it is already being used in everyday life. Topics will include practical applications in healthcare, education, business, and public services, as well as the potential benefits of AI for improving efficiency and decision-making. The presentation will also address important considerations such as data privacy, ethical use, bias, and the evolving role of AI in the workplace and society.
