Bus Trip: Tracy Aviary

Join us for a wonderful day out at Tracy Aviary in Salt Lake City’s beautiful Liberty Park! As the oldest freestanding aviary in the United States, this lovely 8-acre sanctuary is home to over 400 birds from 135 spectacular species. We will stroll along flat, easy-to-walk paths to see everything from majestic bald eagles and elegant flamingos to free-roaming peacocks. Our group will enjoy a seat at the daily educational bird show to watch talented ambassador birds fly overhead, and we will explore comfortable indoor exhibits like the tropical Treasures of the Rainforest and the South American Pavilion. It is the perfect blend of beautiful scenery, wildlife, and relaxed socializing. We can’t wait to share this feathered adventure with you!

The bus will depart from the Park City Senior Center at 9:30 am. It will be a 45 minute drive down the canyon to the Tracy Aviary. We will have time to explore before enjoying the bird show at 11:00 am, enjoy some free time before meeting at the gift shop 12:30 pm. We will then board the bus and enjoy lunch at The Park Cafe before returning to the Senior Center around 2:30 pm.
