Discover the Beauty of Red Butte Garden

Join us for a beautiful day of nature, exploration, and fall foliage at Red Butte Garden in Salt Lake City! As one of the largest botanical gardens in the Intermountain West, Red Butte Garden features more than 3,000 unique species of plants and trees across 21 acres of beautifully themed gardens and approximately 75 acres of natural areas.

During our visit, we’ll have the opportunity to take in the changing colors of the season as the garden comes alive with vibrant shades of gold, red, orange, and green. Throughout the day, we can stroll along scenic pathways, enjoy the colorful seasonal displays, discover native and waterwise plants, and pause to take in the stunning views of the Wasatch Mountains. With more than five miles of hiking trails and an inspiring variety of gardens and plant collections, there will be something beautiful to discover around every corner.

After our time at the garden, we’ll head to the historic Ruth’s Diner in Emigration Canyon for lunch. Following lunch, we’ll enjoy a scenic drive through the canyon, taking in the beautiful autumn colors and changing scenery along the way before returning to the Senior Center.

This special outing is a wonderful opportunity to get outdoors, enjoy the beauty of fall, connect with nature, and spend a relaxing day with friends while experiencing one of Utah’s most beautiful living landscapes.

The bus will leave from the Senior Center at 9:30 AM and return around 2:30 PM. Registration fee of $3.00 is due when you sign up.
