BalletNEXT Performance

Join us at the Eccles Center on Sunday, January 7th for the next upcoming performance of BalletNEXT. Presented by the Park City Institute, the show will begin at 3:00pm and include the following:
Night Realms
Choreography by Michele Wiles, set to the enchanting compositions of Claude Debussy and Ottorino Respighi. The music will be performed live by the incredibly talented Koji Atwood, accompanied by the spellbinding vocals of opera singer Clara Hurtado.
Between the Two
Prepare to be mesmerized by the Eccles debut of this stunning piece by Brian Reeder, exclusively created for BalletNEXT. With Caroline Shaw’s evocative music performed by Salt Lake’s StringFX ensemble, this ballet explores the intricate relationship between dance and music, offering a captivating experience.
Translucent Materials
Choreographed by Michele Wiles and set to the minimalist masterpieces of Max Richter, Ludovico Einaudi, and Philip Glass, this emotionally charged piece showcases the incredible talents of our BalletNEXT dancers. The performance features evocative solo harp melodies performed by Carolyn Munford.
