A Message from our Executive Director – January 2026:

Happy New Year, Park City Senior Citizens!

I sure hope that each and every one of you is having a fantastic and festive Holiday Season! While it is hard to believe, another year is in the books, folks! Say hello to 2026, which promises to be among the most momentous years in the Park City Senior Center’s history.

As we look forward to what lies ahead, I do not want to forget about the incredible work that has been done by our Board and staff over the course of 2025. More importantly, I want to extend my deepest gratitude to our departing Board President, Liz Novack. Words cannot express the impact that Liz has had on the Park City Senior Center, nor can they adequately convey just how much work Liz has put in over the past two years to place the Center on its current skyward trajectory. Liz’s leadership has been the driving force behind our organization’s success, and her unparalleled dedication to ensuring that our future remains bright has paid off immensely. Selfishly, I must also acknowledge the fact that, without Liz, Park City Senior Citizens, Inc. would likely not have an Executive Director, and I surely would not have the pleasure of being the individual in that role. Since I joined this incredible nonprofit back in March, Liz has served as a mentor, a sounding board, and a friend. Thank you for everything, Liz!

Additionally, I would be remiss if I did not thank our departing Executive Assistant to the President, Tara Stocker, who has been instrumental in keeping our organization on track and in order, and departing board member, Jim Tedford, who is and always has been willing to step up and lead new activities, drive the bus, and ensure that the Center remembers its past. Thank you for all your hard work, Tara and Jim!

While we all understand that replacing Liz, Tara, and Jim is simply impossible, the Board and I are no less committed to upholding their legacies as we pursue a new building and continue to develop the Park City Senior Center into an institution that all Parkites 60-plus can utilize and be proud of.

To our members, I say thank you and have a fantastic 2026.

Kindly,

Trason Dixon

( Golden Art Club on Wednesdays 1 – 3 PM

Classes are free for all paid members of the Senior Center, there is no weekly sign up. However, the KAC has an email list of those wanting weekly notifications of what’s happening in our upcoming classes.

One of the great benefits of becoming a member of the PC Seniors is the ‘Golden Art Club’, the weekly art sessions that are put on for our Seniors each week.  They are held on Wednesday afternoons at the Senior Center, unless noted otherwise.

This March the Kimball Art Center continues to offer the 8 – Week Clay Session at the Senior Center on Wednesdays from 1-3pm. Titled “Sculptures of the Garden”, this series required registration and is closed.

ANY paid member of PC Seniors can attend the Golden Art Club classes…even if you are an all-thumbs beginner. We’re ALL artists!  Just show up for the class, no pre-registration needed.  And if you would like to be added to the weekly mailing list, drop us an email to [email protected]

Meet our Secretary, Annette

We would like to say Thank You to Hannah, who has been the County’s Secretary at Park City for several years, as she and Annette Rockwood switched places at the Kamas and Park City Centers.

Annette and her husband Dave are long time residents of Park City and members of PC Seniors!  She will be at the PC Center from Monday through Thursday.  Her hours are 9 to 5 daily, except she and our activities coordinator Kelly Jacobs will split the shift on Wednesdays.

Contact her at [email protected]
