Schedule Your Flu and/or Covid Booster NOW
The Park City Seniors are partnering with the Summit County Health Department and the National Council on Aging (NCOA) to provide both Covid and Influenza vaccinations at our Senior Center.
This program is for all adults 60 years or older, or any mobility challenged persons of all ages in the Greater Park City area. You do NOT have to be a member of the Senior Center to participate.
We have several clinical dates scheduled, both during our normal open hours, as well as other afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
If someone is mobility challenged, no matter what age, we can help either find transportation to get them to the Senior Center for the vaccination clinic. If you need someone to come to your residence to provide the vaccines, contact us at [email protected]
the DATES of the four clinics are:
Thursday Oct 5, from 2PM to 6PM (All Seniors welcome!)
Thursday Oct 12, from 11AM to 1:30PM (For those attending Lunch at Senior Center today, limited parking)
Saturday, Oct 21, from 10AM to 2PM (All Seniors welcome! – If all the Scheduled slots are full, just Walk In…we can do it! )
Tuesday, Nov 7, from 3PM to 6PM (All Seniors welcome! – If all the Scheduled slots are full, just Walk In…we can do it!)
As an incentive/reward, we will be providing light snacks as well as distributing FREE LUNCH coupons
Walk-ins are accepted, but scheduled vaccinations take priority
The Summit County Health Department would like you to know that they CAN provide a free Flu shot if you don’t have insurance.
However, for the Covid Vaccine, if you have no insurance, Walgreens is the only licensed pharmacy that will administer that vaccine for you.
In addition, if you come to the Park City Vaccine Clinics, the Summit County Health Department accepts MOST insurance, including UHC-AARP, but does NOT have a direct reimbursement program set up with other versions of United Health Care, Aetna, or the U of U insurance. You CAN get the vaccine, but you would need to pay the cost of the vaccine up front, then submit a claim to your insurance company for reimbursement. the Health Department will provide you with all the paperwork you need to submit your reimbursement paperwork. It would be a lot easier for you to receive your Covid booter at a participating pharmacy instead.
All other insurance IS directly accepted by the Summit County Health Department, so please click the link to continue to the scheduling site.
